ALASC (Birth Name: Lasten Lupia Batcha is a christian rapper and songwriter, born in Dedza on the 10th of September 2003.

He started doing poetry in 2017 before transitioning into active music in 2020, specifically the Rap Genre.

He has been passionate about music since 2010, being inspired by some of the young artists of those days, including Israel Chatama. Growing up in a family that loves music added to his passion for music.

In 2023, he released his debut Extended Playlist (EP) titled One Step Ahead.

Currently, Alasc is a student at the Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (Formerly College of Medicine) pursuing Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree.

His dream is to use his physiotherapy career and music prowess to inspire the youth and direct them in a Godly path. He simply calls himself "a Man with a Heart for the Youths."

He musical inspirations include Suffix (who is his favourite artist), Pompi, Shammah vocals, NF, and Bryann T, among others.
