Soul and Afro Soul Artist Blessings Gondwe garnered industry buzz through independently released work especially singles. He is also a winner of one of the big music competitions in Malawi called “Mibawa Upcoming Music Competition”.
Blessings started singing when he was very young, by himself he learnt how to play piano, at the age of 13 he become a worship leader at his first church, where he stayed for more than 10 years and mentored a lot of people in expressing their feelings through music. His journey proceeded as he moved to another location in Blantyre where he joined another Church in 2016 and he was chosen as a worship leader as well up to date.
Blessings Gondwe has 3 songs recorded by Mibawa studios, after winning Mibawa Music Competition 2017, the songs titles are Chidongo, Chikondi Chathu & I don’t worry.
